Pattaya is known for its beaches, but a day at a waterpark is one of the best ways to cool off and keep the whole family entertained. Here are three waterparks worth the trip, ranging from a massive classic park to a rooftop option right in the city.
Ramayana is the largest water park in the area and one of the biggest in Thailand. It sits on around 100 rai (about 45 acres) in Na Chom Thian, with natural hills forming a scenic backdrop for the park.
Aquaverse is a movie-themed waterpark built around Sony and Columbia Pictures films, including zones based on Ghostbusters, Jumanji, Hotel Transylvania, and Zombieland. It sits in Na Jomtien, close to Ramayana, so the two can realistically be visited on separate days of the same trip.
Space Waterpark is a different kind of waterpark experience. It is a space-themed rooftop water park at the Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya hotel, right in the city rather than out on the coastal road.
Ramayana and Aquaverse are both outside the city centre, so most visitors book a private taxi for the round trip rather than relying on public transport. Space Waterpark is close enough that a short taxi ride works fine even for a spontaneous visit.
